Procedural Ultrasound Courses in Babies and Children
We felt there was a need to address teaching common procedures in children using ultrasound guided techniques. Whilst there are a number of courses in adults there is a need for courses focussed on children and more procedural rather than diagnostic.
In our course planned for Sept 2024 we will be covering the following topics using expert tutors from leading children's hospitals around the world including Birmingham Children's, Alder Hey and Evelina Hospitals in the UK :
Peripheral venous access
Central venous access
Midlines and PICC lines
Tunnelled lines / Broviac lines
Basic Echocardiography
Peripheral nerve blocks
Airway anatomy
Small group teaching with 75% practical workstations
